REGISTER BEFORE NOVEMBER 15th IN ORDER TO RECEIVE YOUR CAMPOUT T-SHIRT

***Please don't bring your recreational off-roading vehicles. We had some complaints last year because it got too wild.

WHERE: Punta Cabras, Mexico (3.5 hours south of the border). Closest landmark town to the south is called Erendira about 20 minutes drive.

WHAT: This is an adventure trip to Mexico, raw camping on the beach. This means NO AMENITIES. We will set up pop up toilets, which means either a big hole with a tent around it or a bucket with an attached toilet seat. We will pack it in, pack it out. All food, water, grills to cook with, etc will be provided by CS Staff and we will provide all meals. No cell service.

THE PURPOSE OF THIS TRIP IS TO.....

Grow closer to God and community while sharing the amazing experience of being in His amazing creation.

Chase waves and hopefully score!!

Adventure, surf, fish, completely relax, it's up to you!

SURFING: The wave is a beach break. Extremely variable depending on the wind. Last year was chest high and clean and the year before was double over head. With the many times I've been there, its unpredictable. Sometimes it's a perfect barrel, sometimes it's ripple and easy to surf, sometimes it's closed out. Peaky, crossed up swells are best but I've seen it work on any direction. I've scored some insane waves here.... and i've got skunked here. I will say its a swell magnet so it will always be about two feet bigger than anywhere else.

FISHING: The fishing here is very good. If you can get out to the reefs (not far) rock fish, calico bass, sheephead, yellowtail. From the beach the surf perch bite is off the hook (pun intended). If you plan to fish, please purchase a Mexican fishing license before the trip. Bring your own fishing gear, it will not be provided.

HOW DO I GET THERE? Please coordinate with someone you know who is going. If you don't know how to get there personally, I can put you in a caravan with someone who does. If you don't know anyone going on the trip, contact me and I will find you a ride. Don't wait until last minute to look for a ride or you'll be on your own!

WHAT AM I PAYING $130 BUCKS FOR? Medical team on site, three meals a day, for four days, drinking water, propane, toilet paper, biodegradable toilet bags, trash bags, cooking supplies such as butter, oil, spices, fire wood, and a T-shirt. We do things as cheap as possible.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING: Packing list will be sent to all registrants. Just know this is a camping, not glamping, trip. We cannot control the weather so come prepared for the cold ocean water (4/3 wetsuit +) and the cold air/maybe rain.

If you have more questions, concerned parents, or want to simply share how stoked you are to go feel free to contact Nina or Cheyne.
