Welcome to the 2024 Olympics Surf Outreach Application. This mission is one of the biggest dreams of the combined action sports ministry network. We have the incredible opportunity to represent Jesus around different areas of the world around the Olympic window.
This movement will be made up of two areas, Tahiti and mainland France. The team in Tahiti will have a presence in Taravao and Papeete. The mainland France effort will be split into multiple teams located in strategic French surf towns along the coast. There will also be a mobile team that moves between locations. This has never been done before as surfing is so new to the Olympics, the plans for the Tokyo Olympics were unfortunately cancelled due to Covid travel restrictions to Japan so this will be the first ever Olympics outreach for surfing.
The goal of this mission is to represent Jesus around the biggest sporting stage in the world. There will be opportunities for evangelism, prayer and fellowship in all of the locations. This is a kingdom team made up of leaders from across the action sports ministry world. Please pray how you can be involved with this effort.
